did LSU not go 9-3 last year? did LSU not beat the SC and Auburn with similar scores (45-21) (44-21) last year on the way of racking up wins to start the season 7-0? did we not think that LSU was the top 3 team in the nation heading into that alabama contest?
when did it all fall apart? it seemed like it all fall apart with 3 straight losses to good SEC teams, teams i don't think we've played just yet. right now, LSU lost to Wisconsin (who's better than we thought) and Auburn (who's better than we thought). yes, we've won 3 games, but how is it so clear that this is not as much fool's gold as starting off the season as they did last year.
i don't see how you guys can say that CEO is a better candidate for the job for making changes and bringing the LSU team up to the level it should've been from the beginning.
and the job isn't about this season, but seasons going forward. it is easy to win the race when you have a faster car than everyone. CEO has a faster car. Miles had to go because he could no longer even in the fast car. the audition is, who is going to keep us in the fastest car or win the race when they have a car as fast as ours.
Dude, if you can't see it.....I don't know what to tell you. All I needed to see was the offense set records the past three games to know all I needed to know. Fire away.
Not to mention, I have throughly enjoyed LSU football again!!!

They were not necessarily games we would win and dominate under prior regime.
And how does this qualify O for the job??!!!

it's really not hard to see the online manifestation of louisiana annually ranking 48, 49 in education patrolling the rant.

There should be nothing you've seen that makes you think that CEO is doing anything other than what miles has done in past years.
not in ALL past years pal. this year marks the 5th straight year where miles offense was dysfunctional and he refused to get it fixed.

these are games LSU should win.
so was Wisconsin and Auburn. LSU SHOULD HAVE WON BOTH OF THOSE GAMES. and from what I've seen, coach O would have won them.
granted the year ain't over, but if you can't see the difference in our offense from the cluster frick Miles/Cameron produced you are one biased person.

which would bring us to undefeated versus bama, right where we hoped we would be before the season.

i in no way have claimed that. do you see me claiming there is no difference?

And anyone that knows football knew what needed to change., O changed those things. That does not qualify him for this job.
You fricktards loved to say les was winning with Sabans players, well O is winning with Les's coaches, players, play book.....hell, he's probly wiping his arse with Les 's toilet paper. Look at what O has done with Os people ........he shite the bed.

And how does it not? I can do that too! Not saying he's earned the job.....YET, but I'm extremely excited about what's he's done so far. It will work itself out down the line. Meanwhile, I'll enjoy what's going on NOW and root for EO NOW to succeed instead of looking for ways to disqualify him from contention for someon who may or may not meet expectations of what's going on NOW.

bill, look at my initial post. I SAID THAT EXACT THING. that it does not disqualify him.

NO ONE IS DOING THAT.

nd how does it not?
Well, it doesn't, but outside of the past three games (against three fairly questionable teams) and his USC interim stint, it's the ONLY positive thing on his resume. Then there's the last time he held the position we're suggesting he's qualified for.....

But by all means, let's pay him 4mil to manage what we all feel is a top tier football program.

Curious. Are you suggesting he cannot change, do things different, be successful?

So u honestly think we should have beaten down all three if les is the coach?
Did u not watch the wisky and auburn games?

bullshite Karma! People are constantly doing it. The Ole Miss days are constantly used as a barometer for his success.....which I understand. However, coaches have shite the bed on occasions and have become very good head coaches down the road. My point, people learn from previous mistakes and can overcome and be successful. Ala Bill Belichick at Cleveland.

Ole Miss was a pretty good test and he passed with flying colors. If we win out and we don't offer him the job we look like clowns.

even larry coker can be successful for a few years in the right circumstances.
ditto for mike archer.
the point of this thread is that while CEO has been great so far, nothing he has done or could possibly have done thus far proves that he is right for the job. YET.
