Episode 4 - San Junipero SPOILERS
I'm having a tough time with the way this one ended. Did anybody else struggle with why Kelly made the decision she made? Don't get me wrong, I liked that it was such a change with a happy ending, and overall it felt like a great episode to me. I'm just having a hard time understanding why she made such a drastic change in what she wanted to do. After 40 years of knowing she would just die, she changed her mind to go be with someone she just met for eternity?
I suggest a rewatch on this one, there's little things that make much more sense during it

So far I've watched 1-3. Could be some spoilers below:
1: I LOVED about 90% of the episode. One thing I like abotu BM is the futuristic yet also plausible aspects of it. The searching for likes and upvotes thing was awesome to watch but I didn't care for the ending. It was too cringey which definitely isn't what BM is known for. Her breaking down giving the wedding speech was somethign I'd expect out of a lame sitcom. And the end when they're finally free to cuss at each other with no repercussions...eh I get it it just didn't really resonate with me I guess.
2: This is the kind of ep I've come to expect of BM. Futuristic, creepy, twists and turns, surprising ending. I really liked this one. I changed my mind several times in a few minutes on what was real or simluated.
3: Similar to the first one, I overall liked the episode but was probably more enthralled with the story instead of the ending. I was super into this goose chase the kid is going on, but at the end he gets outed anyway. I get that it was kind of justice since he was a perv but it kinda of made the rest of the story for naught in a way. Also...I'm not a "we need answers for everythign" kind of person but we don't know shite about who was behind the hack, why they did it, how/why they got so many other people involved, what is their endgame, what do they want, etc.

Because she stopped punishing herself and allowed herself to be happy. Her options were either start anew with Yorkie, or go off to the Nothing and cease to exist. She chose to continue to exist and allow herself to be happy, and stop punishing herself for a death she wasn't responsible for. It's about grief.
If we look at the Quagmire, people are punishing themselves in order to feel anything, even if that feeling is pain. It's much along the idea that hell is what you make it. This could be heaven or hell, but you have the choice to make it either. And Kelly finally decides that instead of choosing to keep punishing herself, she can have heaven and be happy again.
I thought it was a beautiful hour of television, and one of the best things I've ever seen.
