If you eve have issues with them they are simple to fix and re-lube. I buy broken ones for $30-50 all the time and fix them and re-sell for $150 or so. The professionals go for $250-350 used.
( i prefer the models with the lifting bowl to the tilt top models like the Artisan. Nothing wrong with the Artisan or classic, just I think the Professional and the Pro and the 6000 are better built)

so you like the $700 mixer better than the $350 mixer. You don't say?
