Just stop with this Coach O shite please, if he wants to be the HC tell him to build and maintain a G5 program first. Don't test him out at a top tier program just because he's a local guy.

agreed. Too big a risk to hire a guy that went 3-21 in conference in his only permanent HC gig.
Don't get me wrong, I love coach O. But he needs to go to a lower level school and kick arse. Then the bigger jobs will come.
But to give him the keys now is way too big of a risk. Interim HC is far, far different that permanent.

and remember that the Rant is full of emotional homers who worship at the feet of anyone wearing a purple polo on Saturdays.
At the beginning of the year, they wanted Aranda to be named head coach-in-waiting ....... before he coached a single down for us and in spite of the fact that Aranda hasn't spend a single day as head coach anywhere.
Such is the Rant.
And by the way, I love what coach O is doing and I love Aranda (so far). But that doesn't mean either is right for our HC job. We need a proven commodity.
