I do know from discussions that the movie is pretty close to what the comic fanboys thought it should have been and they were pretty happy with it (which is why my opinion is unpopular)
I don't understand this.
Are you saying you wanted it to be different than how he was in the comics?
Stuff like this irritates me. It's fine if you didn't like the film just because it wasn't your cup of tea, but if you didn't like how Deadpool was in the comics, or wanted the film to be different from that and that's why you didn't like the film then you're opinion is pretty irrelevant in that regard.

Cocomo doesn't want to hear about how it was in the comic book. He is a dedicated nonreader.
Don't have me banned please, Coco, buddy, pal.

Not at all. I have literally no idea how the comics are outside of what I have seen people talk about (on a very limit basis) on here.
I'm saying that as a general moviegoer, who has no real knowledge of the comics or the character, that the movie was just okay. It tried too hard to be funny instead of just being funny, if that makes sense. And I get that that's almost exactly how the comic character is, it failed a bit for me.
And that's not to say that I hated it or anything. It was pretty good, and funny at times. I just don't agree with the overwhelming adoration it gets (again, that's coming from someone completely unfamiliar with the comics).
Does that make sense?
