Seriously though, next year he has to be considered one of if not the best returning back in the country.

My Top 5 based on who I think will return, and has to return

Derrius Guice
Saquon Barkley
Chris Warren
Trayveon Williams
Myles Gaskins

It's kinda hard leaving out guys like Damien Harris, Joe Mixon, Mark Walton, Ralph Webb, Mike Weber and Jarvion Franklin (who probably leaves with his WR, QB, and even Fleck), but the top 5 is loaded for me personally.

mean what QB's shine in the country next year

Taking into account returning talent on team, chances team wins 10 or more games next year, the QB's media presence, the QB's stats, you have, IMO

2016 stats so far

Kenny Hill - TCU
63.3% 2142 pass (8.4 ypa) 12 TDs 8 ints, 206 rush (3.68 ypc) 7 TDs

Josh Rosen - UCLA
59.3% 1915 yards (8.3 ypa) 10 TDs 5 ints, 2 rush TDs

Deondre Francois - FSU
62.4% 1876 pass (8.5 ypa) 10 TDs 3 ints, 141 rush (2.12 ypc) 3 TDs

Lamar Jackson - Louisville
58.2% 1806 pass (9.2 ypa) 15 TDs 4 ints, 832 rush (7.36 ypc) 15 TDs

Baker Mayfield - Oklahoma
70.6% 1803 pass (10.2 ypa) 16 TDs 5 ints, 104 rush (2.48 ypc) 3 TDs

Shane Buechele - Texas
63.7% 1500 pass (7.8 ypa) 13 TDs 5 ints, 141 rush (3.07 ypc) 1 TDs

Jake Browning - Washington
72.2% 1418 pass (9.8 ypa) 23 TDs 2 ints, 3 rush TDs

Jerome Evans - V Tech
62.7% 1352 pass (8.6 ypa) 17 TDs 2 ints, 319 rush (4.43 ypc) 2 TDs

Guys that won't bring much back, but could win 10+ games next year and have a media presence

Jalen Hurts - Bama
63.5% 1385 pass (7.8 ypa) 9 TDs 3 ints, 428 rush (5.78 ypc) 8 TDs

Sam Darnold - USC
66.7% 1334 pass (8.9 ypa) 13 TDs 2 ints, 137 rush (4.42 ypc) 2 TDs

Then you have a guy like Patterson for Ole Miss who should explode year one based on the system and talent.

lets see him play against good teams first.

I think he is a great back, but its hard to win the heisman as a RB who isn't on a championship team.

Also his YPC is pretty inflated at this point.

When was the last time a favorite coming into the season won the Heisman? And how many times has that happened in the the last 2 decades?

Mariota, but I don't know about the previous 2 decades. Either way Guice won't be the favorite coming into 2017. It'll be Lamar Jackson, Jake Browning, Baker Mayfield, or Jalen Hurts.

I still expect Guice to finish with 900+ rush yards and 10 TDs this year.
