"Dracula and LSU Football are at their best after the sun goes down." -- Beano Cook.

Maybe one day I'll be able to visit Death Valley for a night game. Hopefully next season. Anyone been to the Big House who can compare the two experiences?

I'll get you into DV, good seats, if you can hook me up at the Big House.

I don't think that's true.
Last time in Tiger Stadium I believe was a day game, the grass game.

Never heard of Michigan being loud or anything. I heard y'all drink lots of wine. Not being mean just saying I've never heard Michigan being intimidating. But I would still wanna go and see it.

LSU
Florida
OSU
Wisconsin
Auburn
I hear about those though.

Appreciate it. I don't think tickets will be a problem, but rather, scheduling. I'm going to make it happen soon. You should definitely check out the Big House if you get a chance. I'm sure it's not as raucous as Tiger Stadium, but it's still pretty neat.

I've been to both, but my UM experience was against a cupcake in a day game so no comparison, LSU in a landslide. Night games are just better imo.
I'd like to check out a UM/OSU game there in the next couple years when both are contenders

ETA: I will say the Big House's sheer size is a sight to behold and I really dig the lack of advertisements around the bowl...as in there are none

Yeah. You weren't able to get the full experience. I haven't been there in a bit, but I think Harbaugh has reinvigorated the fan base.

However, I don't think anything tops SEC night games in BR. I remember watching some of them as a kid and saying to myself, "Dang, I gotta check that place out." Just looked like the atmosphere was on another level. Then, when I saw the Golden Girls, I knew it was a wrap.

I've never been to the big house. Have friends that went and said it was seriously quiet.

I have a buddy that is from Gonzales but lives 30 minutes from Ann Arbor now. He has stated multiple times that both stadiums at their best, the big house is tame compared to Tiger Stadium.

Michigan isn't much a night game place. They have very little history of night game success, in fact they didn't even play a night game until 2011.

From wiki:

quote:

The lights were first used at the men's hockey game on December 11, 2010. The following season saw the stadium's first night football game on September 10, 2011

Any stadium described as "neat" is doing it wrong...
