St. Brown is a great receiver and Torii Hunter Jr. is a shifty back, that's not the problem. Too many penalties, play calling is predictable, and BK doesn't allow the offense to get in a rythm (pulling Kizer, trying to throw deep ball after deep ball, predictable play calling).

Losing Robinson hurt, and not having a burner like Fuller has been an adjustment, but they are more than capable of passing the ball.

ETA: then BK gets in a shouting match with the Stanford strength coach after the game. He has no control and is a cocky a-hole, he needs to go soon. Notre Dame may not be the gold standard of college football anymore but they are not a 3-9 program.

Great receiver? No

All of the rest is true but they don't have anyone that can get open and create separation. All of Kizer's throws are contested in tight spaces

Kelly not adjusting his play calling is criminal
