It depends when it happens. If it happens this season, then it's like oh crap, there probably goes coach O's chance for the head coaching job. If it happens after this season, just like any other loss the team will have to get better.

I will be bummed, but I know that fiery coonass will pull every trick out of his bag to secure a win. It will not be due to a lack of effort. Those losses are much easier to stomach.

I don't care, as long as (1) the loss isn't attributed to lack of effort on the field, or (2) the loss isnt due to some obvious incompetence on the sidelines. I'm actually curious to see how the TEAM would respond to another loss.

I respect that you support and have pride in your team. You remind me of the Canadians that come down to Florida for the winter and fly their red leaf flag! A flag that represents a nation that carries little if any significance in the eyes of the world, much like USM in the eyes of College Football.

You know I'm just kidding... about USM. The Canadian dig was 100% spot on!

easy and give O the keys to the Ferrari.

We're more like primered 1983 Camaro at this point. For the past five years we've had our arse handed to us in the SEC. I can't believe how delusional some of you guys are.

We had Curley and DiNardo taking the Camaro for a spin and got lucky when we got Ayrton Saban to take a ride but even he only gave use two good seasons.

We're second tier in the SEC. Saban had a couple of good seasons and a couple crappy seasons. Take a look at him at Bama. Other than the ULM debacle season, nothing but spectacular seasons. It's time to admit that we are not in the same league as Bama and just be happy to beat Arkansas and Ole Miss. Texas A&M has the ability to be Bama-West and seems to be putting it all together with Chief and Oklahoma's sloppy seconds.

Bama, A&M, and Florida and Georgia are all Tier 1. We are Tier 2 nestling cozy with State, Tennessee, and Arky. Wake up and smell the coffee. We will always be a stepping stone and never a destination. Bama, USC, ND, Michigan, Ohio State, and the NFL, those are the real destinations.

I hope O wins out because that means the Tigers will win out. I don't understand the mentality of rooting for LSU to lose. Even if he runs the table, we are more than likely to get a Fedora or Fleck as HC for next year but I like O and hopefully if he has a good showing we'll win the SEC and he'll land a HC job somewhere. But really, do we have a chance against Bama and Ole Miss and A&M? I hope he pulls of the impossible but I fully expect to lose those and the Arky game too. Even Herman wouldn't be able to get our shite together for those teams.

Why do you guys pray for a melt down?

I have a strong feeling Herman is going to Tommy Bowden / Rich Rod when he lands at big school and I hope that it isn't us who is stuck with him for a five year death spiral.
