Understanding or pissed? They should just schedule Florida's opponent that game.

It sucks for their players. I'm sure they all look forward to playing at the bigger schools.

They have a win at State and a win over a ranked team this season.

They're having a good season.

The 1.5 million reasons they're playing the game are still there...no problem. Although I'm sure playing in Tiger Stadium was a big deal for their players. Sucks for them.

Nope.

We lost the chance to play LSU in Death Valley. You know our players were excited about that. We lost exposure to recruits in Louisiana that ULL and ULM can't provide us (and LA is an area we were targeting). We lost a TV game. We now have two off-weeks in a row, although this could change if we play Presbyterian. Yeah we got 1.5 million, but we would have still gotten 900K if we played the game.

I know a lot of you think of our young program as a cupcake, but we did beat Mississippi State and #19 San Diego State this season, so losing LSU to play a 1-4 FCS team is not exciting in the least. We might not be an SEC team, but we all grew up on SEC football and our fans were excited about this game.

Teams like S. Bama may think twice before scheduling an SEC team who plays Florida.

The only thing is this would be a second FCS game for the Jags... so the win wouldn't count towards bowl eligibility. Not that we were expecting a win in Baton Rouge, but we lose an appealing fun game for fans to play a 1-4 FCS team. This game will probably get scheduled, but it will mostly be because USA doesn't want two bye weeks in a row.

Someone associated with the USA band is not happy about it...

The USA band could have gone to Mississippi State (and enjoyed a win) instead of LSU and now they got neither. It must suck lol. I think this leaves their only trip this season as Louisiana Lafayette, which has already happened.

At halftime on 11/19, USA and Presbyterian should play a 20 minute 8 on 8 flag football game in Tiger Stadium.

That game would take place between the south endzone and the 50, with the north 40 being the "temp north endzone" backline.

Jaguar Band will perform from the actual north endzone to the 35 (5 yard safety buffer).

Alleva should've had you speak on behalf of USA last week, so the nation could see how spineless Foley and Sankey were being.

After all this idiocy, two schools and their fans ultimately missed out on great experiences. And it was completely avoidable.

I hate it for your fans and players but I'm sure LSU will be hosting USA in the future

plus you can still say you're undefeated against the SEC
