One big difference is the presence that PJ Fleck has to him. Look at videos of his press conferences. He comes across as a confidant strong personality which is important for coaching and recruiting. I don't know if he is a "brilliant young coach" or not, but it's football, not brain surgery. It's more important to be a strong leader.
