Oh wow. Last I saw, they were up 2-1 last night. The franchise is lucky they are moving into the new stadium next year. That should keep interest up for a couple of years. Without that move, support would be primed to fall.

I don't know enough hockey to evaluate Blashill, but I feel a little bad for him. He came in right as the team was about to decline. At least he didn't snap the playoff streak in his first year. Babcock was smart to get out of town.

I can see it now... "Our trade deadline acquisition is getting our players back from injury."

When we're at our best, we're not terrible. When we're not at our best, we are one of the worst teams in hockey.

That's Mo's line every year at MLB deadline.

I literally cringe when he begins to claim that getting players back is like making a deal w/o taking away from the team. i literally want to throw the radio out the window.

This is the best hockey I've ever seen the Caps play. They are toying with the Hawks right now. Up 2-0 in the first 7. Could easily be 5-0.

Have outscored CBJ, Montreal, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, and Chicago 21-3 in the past 5 games.

At least Korpisalo has looked good. Can't blame him for the one goal.

I'm not going to say I was right, but I was totally right. Korp is light years better than Forsberg.

He's why we won tonight. Made a ton of big saves.
