It's amazing how little the media false narrative bothers you if ya don't listen

IMHO-Just tune it out guys. Delete all those crappy ESPN talking head shows from the DVR. Don't worry about vaguely creepy Paul Finebaum and what some monosyllabic redneck from some shite-hole is babbling about on the SEC Network. They will skewer LSU whether LSU deserves it or not.
LSU has done nothing wrong. We offered multiple days , times and venues. We KNEW we were being slow-played and we screamed it from the hills while the media slept and the SEC let UForfeit get away with it. We pleaded to play the game. We warned of the implications. We only asked where and when to park the equipment bus.
That being the case, just tune it out. The never championed us before and they aren't going to start now, We are on the correct side of this debate, we know it and that is really good enough. They will be on to the next thing anyway. There is no need to elevate the opinions of people who don't have our best interest at heart.
It's time to close ranks and support Joe Aleeva (never thought I would say that lol) who appears to be working in our best interest at the moment. Until we get a proposal that is in OUR best interest we just need radio silence. Tune out the talking heads and all their poorly-informed chatter. Let the trolls troll and the haters hate. Lets just be LSU, support the Tigers and quit entertaining all their simplistic and half-baked arguments. Just give them the facts calmly and/or ignore them. We have been through a lot in the last six months, personally I have had more anxiety about local events than ever before in my lifetime and I just want to enjoy some football.

I haven't purposely recorded an ESPN talking head show since VCR days. I pity the fools who exert energy listening to Kornheiser, Steven Eh? Smith, Skip Bayless, and their ilk. Free yourselves.

Life really IS better without ESPN, save for actual games or matches, unless you get Mark Jones and his political agenda.

Yup...cut the cord if you can.

Just bumping this because some people REALLY need to read it and consider my advice. Quit supporting media that seeks to injure things you love. It's not worth the stress. You can't really correct ignorance or idiocy.

OP gets it. I stopped watching that shite years ago. They spread themselves too thin to accurately opine on these issues. Pay them no mind.

Agreed. We have a ton of football to play. If UT beats Bama , we are back in business .

I've been saying this forever. Ignore all the talking heads.
Just watch the games and nothing more. The rest is junk.

It is the male equivalent to the Bachelor or Kardashians. Garbage entertainment that isn't worth getting worked up over.
This is the same network that gave a dude a trophy for getting a set of tits. Just not worth it.

Agreed! I am going to watch LSU-Missouri game again.

Sure, I haven't watched anything other than the actual games in many years.
And I gave up on the news media before that.
Life is too short for that nonsense.

Couldn't agree more. The only thing ESPN is good for is actual game viewing. It's even fun sometimes to listen to LSU sports radio while watching the games on ESPN and tuning out their announcers.
Game day is OK, but the weekday shows are a waste of time.

Also works for the presidential debate

I usually agree with you, Lsupimp, but not on this. Imo, EVERYBODY needs to be paying attention to how corrupt and biased the media.
Otherwise, they will deceive enough people into believing their propaganda.

I'm not saying you can't counter their argument. Obviously do that. But if you are allowing talking heads to elevate your blood pressure, you are doing it wrong. LSU controls our own schedule. Make your feelings known to Joe Aleeva and let him deal with these ill-informed and irrational jackasses. And don't give them the audience they crave. Just say "whatever" and move on. Today they will be on to being catastrophically wrong about something else.

I am just sick of the word "narrative"

Your antI-narrative narrative is a destructive narrative, as narratives go.
