To those that have switched to LED floods. Is there any truth to what I've heard about bugs not being attracted as much to the LED lights?

What is your lamp temperature? Depending on the temerature, your light will be a different color. LEDs that burn at the lower temperatures (around 3000 K) will produce a more yellow or warm light. Most bugs cannot see well along the color spectrum produced by the lower temperature LEDs. However the higher temperature LEDs (Around 4500 kelvin and higher) emit a bluish hue which is in a color spectrum most bugs can see very well in. Think bug zapper and stay away from that color.
