Put in LED floodlights, front porch lights, and all the indoor lights.
Havent' noticed anything on the electric bill, although I didn't expect to b/c I know how to do math, but they last a whole lot longer than regular bulbs do.
I was changing my flood lights every 2 months. The LED ones have been on for almost a year now. After changing out all the indoor lights, I haven't changed a light bulb since, and that's been almost a year as well. That's the biggest difference.

like everyone else as bulbs burn out I am replacing only w/ LED (unless its some specialty bulb Mrs Ontario has in a fixture). CFL bulbs were a bust IMO they don't last as long as they said and are a PITA to get rid of due to mercury. They also don't work worth a GD in the cold (ballast issues).
Walmarks and hardware chain had 40 and 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs on at 99 cents each so I got 20 of each and went around replacing CFLs where I could.
