I said after I went through a fraternity initiation over 40 years ago that I believe if I was a POW and had to go through worse than what I went through for three days, that I would provide the enemy EVERYTHING they wanted.

Whether it's truthful or not. That's the problem with torture as a means of obtaining useful intel. The victim will say literally anything to make it stop.

US law grants immunity from prosecution for any secrets revealed after 72 hours in captivity for this very reason.
