Les seemed to completely ignore his offensive staff outside of Cam. It seems all of our position coaches are delighted to be given the green light to manage their position.

Just playing devil's advocate here, but perhaps with the coaching changes the staff has a clear message that everyone is fighting for their job and they've taken that message to heart with their personnel decisions. The status quo wasn't working, so any areas that were having an issue seem to have gone back to the drawing board.

Granted, it is perfectly plausible that Miles micromanaged certain position groups and now that he's out of the way everyone can do as they see fit, but it could also be because most of the staff may be unemployed in 2 months.

Possibly but even before his firing there had been rumors that he and Cameron essentially isolated themselves from the rest of the staff. Everything that has happened since points to this being true.

There were no tears shed for Cameron getting handed his walking papers amongst the staff and football admin

If Les was who some said he was, why wasn't that his policy?
Maybe it was in reverse, do it the Les way or hit the highway.

Remember Saban fired a DC after about a week on the job.
I think that is when he promoted Muschamp to the position.

or a combination of the two. in an autocratic organization it doesn't even have to be micromanagement; the sycophants extend the coaches will. as in "this is the Miles wants it so let's just do it w/o consulting him). I feel strongly that there was some coaching dissension on this team. and not there isn't. I think cam was the damn sychophant and Les treated him like his pet. probably why Chavis left.
