Please explain what past LSU players have to do with this years team being the best in the country.

Nothing to do with this years team. But as I said, since 2012 I gave you the numbers. The numbers in that time period indicate that LSU is at least as talented as anyone in the country and have been on average every year. Slight dips from year to year, sure. But LSU has had every bit as much talent as bama since 2012, yet hasn't had similar results.

bullshite.

Bama's last 2 draft classes= 15
LSU's LAST 3 draft classes= 17
These are the last 4 recruiting classes. As you can see the gap between lsu and bama is bigger than the gap between lsu and ole miss.

ETA: im still waiting on you tell me how lsu players that went into the nfl from 2005-2013 somehow makes us the most talented team today.
By your logic miami is still talented as hell. They have lots of players on nfl rosters.

That's ridiculous. About 40 players on LSU's roster play about 90% of the snaps. About eight of them will go on to play in the NFL more than just a token appearance. Using the number of people in the NFL is not a good metric.

Every year LSU is woefully inadequate at a couple of position groups. This year our punter and kickers are awful. Next year our linebacking corp will be extremely thin. We've had recent seasons in which our DTs were mediocre. That never happens to Bama. Every year every position group is good as well as deep.

LSU 's elite players are as elite as Bamas It's when you get to the second tier players and depth that the gap is huge between Bama and lsu. fOR example, Bamas 2nd string OL probably has more talent than LSU stating 5. You could take Bama 3rd team players and make up a team that would be one of the most talented teams in the country. The gap is large between bama and LSU in overall talent. Saban is the top recruiter in the country and his recruit rankings prove it. It is his #1 skill as a coach.
