Five yard slants ain't gonna beat the big boys. Neither is a couple of missed bombs every game. If last year did not prove to you that running and ticky tack passes in the flat are going to lose the big games, nothing will.

Like someone stated if Elting connects on 1 or 2 long balls the final score would have been even bigger. Coach O put a good game plan together get the ball out quick and into play makers hands. Elting just needs to work on long ball and receivers need to communicate better with QB. Anyone that didn't see a difference in play calling is blind. We still ran the ball the short quick passes was the differnce to TE's and slants to WR's.
