That's what every redneck in this forum does! "Just comply and everything turns out fine". That's all they say. This guy complied and still got his arse kicked. When will white people, I am white btw, admit that this is a problem.

White people do understand that there is a problem.

People understand that in many/most instances (this is probably not one of them) if you comply with an officer you are much better off to battle him/her in the courts than battle him/her in the street.

The officer in this instance should be fired. If that hasn't happened I would guess that it will. If it doesn't we need to get rid of police unions.

There you go with the blanket statements again

The ridiculously overwhelming majority of the time, compliance is the most prudent course of action. Guaranteed lowest incidence of physical harm.

So, one should never comply, then? fricking stupid line of reasoning. I already said this incident was not ok. The larger point still stands.

I'm black, but I don't really give a shite about the race of the person I'm debating when it comes to issues like this.

When will PEOPLE (white/black/other) admit that civilians have a responsibility in the majority of these cases, as well?

He wasn't entirely compliant. He should have followed their orders and not argue with them. I don't care where I am or how indignant I feel, I'm going to follow the cops orders. That means, when the cop says "stay here", then I'm not going anywhere.

Now after everything blows over, I'm filing complaints, lawsuits, whatever.

Whenever everyone like you will admit police don't have a hard on, or some personal vendetta, for being unfair and take premature action on black people.. and that it's experience and cause and effect that has them conditioned to behave as such.
