Not many things Coach O could do (in the short term) to lose the fanbase

There are not many such things I think. Which is as it ought to be. Everyone loves a fresh start. And Lord knows we needed one.
Some things I could think of:
- Install purple turf in Tiger Stadium.
- Make a permanent change to the home unis.
- Announce there would be no future Mikes.
Whatcha got? Anything else?

Install the triple option
(noting I wouldn't mind seeing option plays with either QB, both actually, a couple times a game)
In seriousness, if he were to say something along the lines of "maintaining" anything except recruiting.
You are right, for us change is good and makes us all warm and fuzzy after the last 4 seasons. Very few changes could upset the base as a whole/majority. Right now, change = improvement; the want to improve consistently was something that appeared, it wasn't evident, to many. Just keep on doing the same thing did not equal improvement.
