Miles departure... Final thoughts

I've given it some consideration and came up with the following:
1. Saban is right, it shouldn't have happened like it did. Like him or not, he and his family gave this organization 12 years and did a good job for most of his tenure. He deserved the respect of ending at the end of a season
2. He should have been terminated at the end of last year. He is well known as a hard head. Why would the administration think that he would change? The administration of one of the most successful college teams ended up looking as if they lacked the insight to understand that this season wasn't going to go well.
Anyway, I feel better now!

To say this is to be utterly tone deaf to everything that transpired between last Thanksgiving and last weekend.

He deserved a shite load of money for coaching a prominent college football team.
He got that.
End of story.
Why dont people feel sorry for CEO's when they get fired?
You people need to grow up.

They tried to end him at the end of a season, but retarded arse people could not let it happen. People like Saban and the rest of the college world need to shut the frick up

Miles disrespected every player and fan by convincing a senior laden class to come back, imply we opened up the offense (serious we ran MOOOREEEE I FORM THAN LAST YEAR) and have absolutely regressed QB play.
Nah
Nah

It's called organizational class

Yes, but in my opinion, organizational class does not mean wait until the end of the season.
That is bullshite.
There are many advantages to firing him early. There is no reason for the team to sacrifice these advantages.

Good Bye Les. Thanks for the Championship and a few great seasons and some hard to watch ones. I am not feeling sorry at all since you are getting $2.15m for 6 years

He used his leverage for years to gain contract extensions and increase his buy-out.
We used our leverage with a 2-2 start to a possible NC season to finally get rid of him. I don't feel bad about it in the least.
With that being said, I will always respect the man and his presence is embedded in LSU history. I will always remember the good times.

He deserved the respect of ending the season right up until he silently told his boss to frick himself.
Coming back this season having changed NOTHING about his offensive approach should have merited firing immediately after the Wisconsin game.
I've no sympathy for a person who is told "your approach to X blows arse" by his boss and then after having months to adjust, at the next opportunity, does the same shite.
Try that at your job and see how far that gets ya

I heard someone say today,"There's never a wrong time to do the right thing." This was said in the context of doing something like this "too early."

Miles secured himself with the huge buy-out for this situation. Don't feel bad for him.

Does anyone think Les Miles has lost a step? Like he was slowing down with age?

That fricker cost me plenty betting the spread. Always thought LSU was better because of talent , boy I was a slow learner.
