I know there is a large collection of people who think "fantasy football is killing the NFL," but since I started playing I've increased my NFL viewing tremendously. Getting Red Zone this year has made me watch even more. So I would say my interest has increased with the overexposure of the NFL.

I play in a couple of fantasy football leagues, but only watch the Saints. Probably why I'm close to the bottom in both of my leagues.

Who thinks that? Fantasy football has been primarily responsible for the (revenue) growth of the league over the last 10-15 years. It has been HUGE for the NFL. I quit playing fantasy football 5+ years ago, and have now virtually abandoned the NFL.

I don't enjoy the style of play relative to 10+ years ago. It is too easy to throw the ball and there are too many silly penalties.

The other thing that has pushed me away is the Sunday afternoon regional broadcast schedule. I get the Ravens and Redskins virtually every week, and if not them, other AFC North or NFC East teams. I don't care enough about those teams to tune in regularly and don't have a strong enough rooting interest in any team to make me religiously follow the league like I did 20 years ago.

When I was still playing fantasy football, none of that mattered. If one of my players was on TV, I was watching.
