Outside of Bill B, looking at this roster I don't think many other top coaches would be doing much better. Loomis has really let him down.
Maybe he doesn't have the magic in NO anymore but I'd love to have him in SF.

Loomis is a numbers guy. Payton tells him who he wants and Loomis makes the numbers work. It's been a combination of bad luck, bad talent evaluation, and Roger Goodell pounding his chest.
