I agree that they benefit from each other, but Drew Brees could be successful without Sean Payton. Sean Payton would find it much more difficult to be successful without Drew Brees.

Luke mccown completed over 80% of his passes for 300+ yards AT Carolina last season. That was a stout defense and the backup moved the ball up and down the field all day long.

yes, but so is just about every great QB ever. That has never been an insult to me.

Payton almost traded for backup Romo. He would have been OK
