I always thought that after 2009 was when you finally knew what you had with Less Miles. 2010 pretty much cemented it. In 2011 I got to enjoy an all time great defense and was not upset when I saw what Leslie ultimately did to the offense. Still, the championship loss to Alabama was just the most unentertaining game to watch.

That is what ultimately cost Miles. The product on the field was at times unwatchable for LSU fans. I am sure that casual TV watchers changed the channel even on the marquee match ups. The SEC network probably factored in.

Yeah. I don't even know how a non LSU fan could watch an LSU. I wouldn't have watched three minutes of that shite if I wasn't a lifelong LSU guy

This is when I was ready to support Les less

In 2008, he made no effort to change the offense to help Lee succeed. I was unhappy with Lee, until years later, when I realized Les was incapable/unwilling to make needed changes. Miles then shut down the offense in 2009 because of the picks, and we lose 4 games. 2010 was more of the same, but he needed Lee off the bench to save his own arse. (did the same thing with Harris, and then Etling)

Then in 2011, he was forced to play someone he did not want at QB, and the kid shined. Led LSU to its first undefeated season in Miles tenure. And then Les shite on him. I don't look fondly on the '11 season, because that's the year I lost respect for him as a person.

By 2010 I would have been happy to have him gone. Cant even imagine Dabo, Jimbo, Patterson, etc. with that 2011 team
