Not like that.

He had absolutely no institutional control and he himself is a loose cannon. He's never been a coordinator, made bad hires at Ole Miss, and he was the absolute worst gameday coach I've ever seen.

He is a "rah rah" type guy that recruits his arse off and needs to focus on one tiny piece of the team, the DL.

We need an intelligent head coach with big time, successful experience building and/or maintaining a program. Ed O was given a system with coordinators at USC and went 6-2 with a bad loss. For some reason, people have convinced themselves here that he worked miracles in Los Angeles. Its simply not true.

Exactly he is perfect as a d line coach / recruiting coord. Nothing more. Maybe a DC down the line if aranda were to leave

and looking at the games he was HC in, he really didn't bearanyone worth a damn besides Stanford. The next best team had an 8-5 record.
