You get 7 home games maybe, why would you try to leave the Mecca early?

I stay until the alma mater gets played after the game......

Baton Rouge after 4th quarter. New Orleans/Lafayette during 4th quarter. Lake chuck/Alec end of third quarter. Funroe/bossier during 3rd quarter.

The lsu fan's guide to leaving early.

Been going to the games since the early 70's & have never left early. I live 1.5 hours away & don't see the need to miss part of the game just to get home 30 minutes early. The worst part of it is that it's the student section that seems to empty out first.

I've left one game early in all our years of being season ticket holders (19). I guess I left early when we were students but not since. I have missed games so that my kids could bring a friend BUT my husband stayed until the end with them (it's kinda his rule).

The ONE time that I left early I was about 5 or 6 months pregnant and had to go to the ER. Miss State 2000. I'll never forget that one.

I see no point in staying for these games when it's a completely boring product in the second half. Blame Les not the fans

frick off, half the reason the team has no energy in the second half is because the fans leave and the energy drains from the stadium

Why go through all the gameday hassle, parking, traffic, tailgating etc and not even stay for the main event? I'm in no hurry to get home if I block out a day for going to a game

This. It's so much trouble going to a game. Just relax and watch the damn show. Someone who I was with asked me if I wanted to leave sometime in the 2ND half of the State game and I just gave them a dumbass look.

Yep. Les even said the players wanted more people to stay. Sucks when you put your all out for someone to enjoy, and they'd rather get home an hour early

I spend a hell of a lot of cash and drive hundreds of miles to see each game. I only get to sit in tiger stadium on a Saturday 6 or so times per year. that said, I really see no point in leaving early, as you don't gain much on traffic unless you leave at halftime and I won't be doing that.
