I disagree. A redshirt year would do him wonders. I just wish we were in a position to it his freshman year. Though it may help him more now if he matures a bit.
He could spend time basically just getting his footwork and throwing motion correct which would allow him to not have to think so hard about those two things when he's trying to figure where to throw the ball before ultimately forcing it to Malachi Dupre. A year off would also allow him to study up on the playbook, and maybe he would actually do it now.
I am very glad that we put McMillan in at the end of the Jack St game and not Lindsey Scott. I think redshirting Scott is going to payoff big time for us in the future.

I agree he would benefit from a RS, do it next year he could just study and mimic Etling. He could learn poise and could come back that RS year and light things up. E has the talent he simply need to know where people will be and what the defense is doing. His best shot getting paid is to stay!! If he gets impatient like he has he can forget the NFL and that's just the facts. Learning from Cam and Etling would be the best thing for him. Etling didn't give up went to a better team and now look. Pro style is where you make your money. This could be the best run of QBs we've ever had if he were to stay and actually learn.
