Parcells to atlanta

To head up all football operations and hire the new coach. Petrino did atlanta a favor by leaving if parcells takes that job.

I wouldnt be too worried about Parcells to Atlanta, Saints fans. I think the game has left him behind and I think the only good thing that will come out of this for Falcons fans is when he leaves it will be in better shape than when he got there. That is all.

I would disagree. They need a strong manager in there to turn that program around. I like him better in that position than as a coach. I CANNOT STAND the Falcons but this should be a solid hire and, as a Saints fan, I'm not happy with it.

boy oh boy those cowboys sure do suck... that same eye for talent that found Tony Romo and our Beloved coach of the Saints as an assistant will now be in charge of all personel decisions for the Falcons. He'll leave it in much much better shape than he found it... shite, I could do that LOL

A good manager could build a championship team in Atlanta. I hate to say that but with the right personell decisions and a good coaching hire that team could be tough.

Cowboys success is my case in point. He could not win much due to his stubborness in hand cuffing creative minds (Payton) on play calling. Eye for talent? Who do you think was instrumental in getting Romo? Not Parcells but Payton and only Payton. Hell Parcells was forced to use Romo last year.
Parcells is a great organizer and will clean house and the next regime will benefit from it just like what is happening in Big D. He will have them somewhat competitive but consistent winner? I doubt it.

Parcells improves every team he goes to.I would have loved it if they fired everyone from the detroit lions and brought in parcells to straighten it out. Arthur blank is smarter than the fords.
