I hardly think it was Loomis' desires to bring in the brandon browner's, spiller's of the world. You can't fault loomis so much when Galette shite the bed off the field, graham became a locker room shite head, and keenan lewis became injured. Loomis does a great job at cap management and all this dead money now is becoming a blessing for our future that was in much worse shape 12 months ago.

I like the potential of the 2017 FA. I am just worried for the same reasons you just outlined. This is the last time we will have big money to put people around Drew and I am not convinced that the person pulling the strings then...wont still be doing it this time around. There is a lot at stake.

Not really a blessing as he continues to push costs into the future. Brees extension alone created $18 million additional to future cap without a related player. IF he extends again, it gets added to the cap for 3 years. If he leaves, we get an $18 million hit in one year.
