Etling made an impact on the game. BH did not. That is the difference.

I've been outspoken in my defense of BH from the baseless criticism, but this is the main reason I've state that Etling deserves to start. On an offense that has struggled mightily regardless of the QB, having a vocal, high-energy, new blood type of guy like Etling should give him the nod. While I don't believe Etling IS any better/accurate/efficient than Harris at this point, Etling gets the benefit of the doubt from the fan base and the team because he looks the part. He moves better. He's vocal and seems to keep the energy up. I haven't see that translate into better QB play, but it did seem to have an effect on the entire team and certainly the home crowd.
He should and very likely will be the guy to start against MSU for those reasons.
