Anytime you get into private universities, like University of St. Augustine, you will have to pay a considerable amount more. LSU-S and LSU-NO are good programs and much cheaper. You also have to consider your academic standing and situation going into school; i.e. where will you get in and when will you get in.
Also, CAPTE, has already, or is about to, make all DPT programs 3 years. When I went to USA, it was 2 years and 4 months so if you hustle, you have 8 months to make money and make up most of that difference in tuition. USA was the only school I applied to due to my prior affiliations with the program and alumni. Now, with the programs being 3 years, I would find it extremely difficult to choose USA over a public school.
