To add on to Deaux's post, I am going to say something a bit off the wall.

IF, by God I mean IF, we had managed to hold on to the lead with y'all, I think Bama would have won the rest of their games. Say the East goes on as it went and the Viles go to Atlanta with us. We pound the shite out of them again and win the title. You know where that probably puts us? New Orleans on the 7th.

I almost drowned on the Kool-aid on that one, didn't I? Ah well, it's always nice to speculate when your team goes on a skid...

Yes, you pretty much drowned on the Kool-aid there. Didn't know that much Kool-aid even existed.

I just had to add a few things:

1. In my opinion, Bama went 4-8 on the field this year. The Arky game was the biggest most blatant travesty of getting jobbed by the refs since Miami in the BCS championship game against OSU. Or maybe the 5th down. I mean it was that bad. It took a serious and concerted effort by refs and clock operator to give Bama a chance. Also, a questionable call against Ole Piss kept Bama from losing again.

2. Notwithstanding the two victories by ref, LSU tried very very hard to first not beat Bama by 30, then to give them the game outright. That was the biggest self destruction in the shortest period in the SEC all year yet Bama still lost.

3. IF Bama had been 9-2 going into the iron bowl, why would they have won? Tubs is a better big game coach than Saban any day of the week. AU has slightly more talent and were at home this year.

Anyway, Bama is 6-6 on the books and 5-7 or 4-8 on the field this year. The Arky game was a loss on the field (Ole Piss questionable).

Does it shock anyone that an Aub would chime in on our mediocre season.

The Arky game was the biggest most blatant travesty of getting jobbed by the refs since Miami in the BCS championship game against OSU.

Gimme a break. We would've just spiked the ball and scored on the next play.

Notwithstanding the two victories by ref, LSU tried very very hard to first not beat Bama by 30, then to give them the game outright. That was the biggest self destruction in the shortest period in the SEC all year yet Bama still lost.

You do realize that Bama was up by 20 against Arkansas right? Which is it Aubie, because you can't have it both ways. One of these two lame excuses has to be for naught.

IF Bama had been 9-2 going into the iron bowl, why would they have won?

I don't think we would've won, but the team would've been different. The outlook would've been different. Again, I don't think we would've won, but a win against LSU just presents a different team. By the way, if you can say we are 4-8 or whatever then we can prognasticate on this.

Also, there were 30 pictures in the paper on Monday where the WR from Ole Miss touched the ball first. So it WAS the right call.

How about you just go back to beating Tony Franklin off. The men are talking here Betsy.
