That's a sweet gun! We got mine appraised at Lafayette Shooters. They had someone at the time that was very knowledgeable. He was able to tell me what year mine was made in (I forgot by now) but he said it was probably just a couple of months before they started putting swastikas on the grip. I tried to do some research to see what German mine was issued to but almost all records from the Nazi's were burned so it was to no avail.

The guy that had mines name is written on the inside of the flap of the holster
