Haven't listened to them in many years, but this new album is quite solid.

i posted on here asking if anyone needed an extra Chevelle ticket before a show and Elleshoe responded "ill take it, meet me at the corner of 2002 and 2003"

They were never my favorite band, but "Shameful Metaphors" was a masterpiece of a song. I will probably give this new album a listen at some point. Chevelle is still relevent.

Didn't care for their La Gargola too much. I heard their latest single on the radio and it sounds more like older Chevelle. Will give it a listen

Love Chevelle but they went off track with a couple of their newer albums. Although, Sci Fi Crimes was solid.
This Type Of Thinking is probably a top ten album for me.
Eta: North Corridor brings the heat. Solid album and definitely has tones of their older stuff. It's like Sci fi crimes and Wonder What's Next had a baby.

A couple of months ago I posted a thread where I admit I wasn't a huge Chevelle fan because I always felt the lead singer blatantly rips off Maynard from Tool's style.
However, I feel they truly discovered themselves and a unique sound on their newest album.
The new album rocks. Period.

Finally got to listen to it. I like it. They have always reminded me of 10 Years which isn't really a bad thing.
