BIG12 rejects UH, Herman bolts to BR...I really don't care if he brings his coaches or not. We need new blood and a new offense so so bad, it's worth 3 years of growing pains. Instead of watching this dead horse offense, Miles continues to push down our throats.

I think we make a strong run for Herman as well.
As pissed as this fan base is going to be by the time this season is over, I think they are going to have to go all out this time.

He took over a Houston team that was 7-5, 8-5 and 5-7 the 3 previous years.
We have a frick ton of talent. we need someone who can do something with it.

Big 12 can't afford another Texas school with a rich recruiting area 35 miles around it's campus. Way more of a plus for UH than BIG 12. May consider UH to be a big time sleeper program with the talent around the area.

If they get into the Big 12 he stays IMO. They have a deal if they get in he gets $ 5 million bonus. No way he takes that money and runs. He gets another raise close to 5 million a year as well.

At the end of the day, coaches want to play in big stadiums too.
Coaches understand that Houston will never be LSU whether they are the last man in the Big 12 or not.

If they go big12, I think he makes like 7 mil a year. That's way to much for a guy like him. Maybe 7 mil for Fisher but not herman

We better do it now because if we wait until the end of the year and get into the same kind of mess that we did last year Herman may be gone to another program

Houston can never pay what LSU can, even with the dire straights they've been in financially. LSU makes more money per game, than all UH sports combined.

Link? The $5 million agreement is a bonus, not a raise. He makes 2.8 million a year currently.
