profile of the oysters you are eating. are they heavily salty? mildly salty with a sweet finish? soft and sweet?
Ok, I had some and I couldn't determine the flavor profile. They weren't heavy salty, but almost heavy salty. They weren't really mildly salty, more than mildly salty and I didn't taste any sweet or, sugars. They were kinda normal soft, but, not overly soft, and not sweet.
I ordered unsweetened tea, added Splenda,,, was this the right profile?

Ya used the whole Splenda packet?
It wasn't too sweet?

I find the nuances of truvia to go much better with the late summer umami of mid-gulf oysters.
But to each his own.

Ya dang right, actually I used 2!
But, it was a large glass of tea, not overly large, but, still larger than small. It wasn't mildly strong, but, kinda strong and I determined after serious testing that my recipe on the tea matched the oysters profile.

While I want to say just have a beer, a good lemonade would be fine.

Lemonade is intriguing. I wonder if the Chimes sells that.

My grandfather (read 'paw paw') used to say you can't have any liquor with raw oysters because it would make the oysters turn to stone in your gut. Miss that old crazy dumbarse.

No, if it was true I'd be a walking brick wall by now. Instead of ironside's they'd call me stonegut!
