Well if we could just coach them up, that would be great. We've recruited every style QB with the same results.

Mett had a good run, but who wouldn't when you had OBJ and Landry with Hill. We still couldn't win with them.

OBJ and Landry made Mett look better than he was, but he was also groomed by Richt before transferring.

U guys realized that both QBs last night were with their coaches respectfully less than half as long as Brandon Harris has been at LSU. Jimbo takes a true freshman and fixes him at halftime, and freeze has a guy for 2 years.

If you go back in watch some of those games, the windows that Mett was having to put the ball in were ridiculous. It clearly wasn't the receivers. The problem is the design of the offense. It's archaic and poor. We can decide to throw the ball more, but that won't fix the design. It's broken.

Not just this, but even Mett needed a year at UGA, a year playing JUCO, a whole year on the bench at LSU, then a whole year as the starter at lsu. Finally he was unleashed and able to run that offense. That's ridiculous that such a talent needs that much grooming for a college offense.

It's not just the pass/run percentage. It's when they are called and the creativity of the play selection. Our play calling is very predictable. Even people who don't know football know when we're going to run. We telegraph everything by formation and personnel grouping.

We also do not use the whole field in the passing game. Throwing inside the hashes is not allowed since JL's pick 6 year. Les needs to get over that. When narrow the field to the point they can cover with just 2-3 DBs and commit 8-9 to the run.
