I've seen a few people calling JSU a cupcake team and an easy win for LSU. I'm here to tell you otherwise. JSU's QB is the reigning conference POY(albeit FCS). Their RB(Auburn transfer) was a 5 star recruit in 2014 with only 2 guys ranked ahead of him; one named Leonard Fournette. They have the pre-season conference DPOY. Where LSU is at this point, I really hope they show up to play, because if not, they may be losing their home opener. Anyone else have information, thoughts, insight on JSU?

They're good but we will win. No doubt about it

Bottom tier SEC skill players
MAC level in the trenches
FCS level depth.

The game won't be close. You lose games like this by having a terrible defense

A 5* RB recruit is bottom level SEC? Their defense is more athletic and physical than you're giving them credit for. Will be a close game.

Well he transferred away from a bottom level SEC team at the time because he wasn't good enough to play much, so you tell me. Don't put so much credence on what a guy did in high school to determine the type of collegiate talent he is.

It's going to be a blowout, y'all are just (rightfully) emotional.

I've been there. I watched Spencer Pennington lead an offense

They're a solid lower level team and if we show up like we did against Wisconsin it could get really ugly. But let's be real they aren't beating us (I hope )

All they have to do is load 9 in the box and focus on tackling LF every play. Roll the dice and let Harris throw. With his pass percentage, I'd let him have a few plays to stop LF. If they do that, they win.
