Anthony Jennings...

In his first start at ULL after just transferring and opening up against Boise State went 21-33 for 186yds and a touchdown. That is 64% completion and no interceptions against a more superior opponent.
What say the rant...better player or better system???

At least AJ looked serviceable in a loss. Harris looked like he was on a field trip to Lambeau

System. Jennings isn't a great QB, but it's a tough guy and a gamer. Could've become a good QB with the right coaches and some luck his way. I still wonder if his injury in HS severely hindered his throwing ability.

The massive amount of decommits, transfers, and 4*+ QB's that haven't panned out at LSU under Miles should say it all. We honestly haven't struggled with QB recruiting until last year, and that's because Les has fricked up a solid 8-10 QB's who could've been relatively good elsewhere in his tenure.
I've never seen a coach at any level have a less QB-friendly system than Les Miles. It's fricking awful

He didn't give up any of those points.

I know, so he should have scored more of he's as great as the USL fans think he is.

I know right, its almost as if he's been in a crappy offense for a few years and barely knew what an end zone looked like.

The is the same guy everyone on this board wanted benched for Harris. And now you bring him up as he is going to prove he's a good QB. Jennings is from Georgia and there's a reason even a coach like Richt didn't want Jennings. High school was his ceiling. The ceiling for Harris might have been high school too.

They got blown out I believe.
Passing thats are meaningless in a blowout.
Teams often play relaxed defense and trade those meaningless yards.
Good for Jennings though. He's definitely in a better system.

Oh please.
Herman personally recruited Harris to Ohio St.
He's doing wonders with a 3 star recruit, Harris would be very successful in his system.
It's our system that is the problem. It's our culture. It's straight up Les Miles. Always has been.
The only remote success at QB in this system comes from Seniors.. and that's sad it takes that long.
LSU might as well just take Junior College QB transfers

ULL has the almost the same color jersey as Bama, I knew he wouldn't have a problem hitting those cajun receivers right in the numbers

Who has Herman developed again?
I don't disagree with lsu not being able to develop a qb. But to act like Jennings, Jefferson and now Harris were great qbs and have regressed are just asinine.

What about JJ , Retig , Garrett , Lee , Shepard ,
No doubt in my opinion Russel Shepard would have been a good qb at any school with a spread offense , but never throws one pass here .. fact is we can't develop the qb position,..

and.......that was with an offense that had ONLY the center in the game to snap him the ball. the rest of the line stayed in the locker room for the ENTIRE game. pretty impressive.

i went to the cajuns game. he looked ok. the jury is still out. i will say this though- under constant pressure he made some plays with his feet to keep the play alive and make some plays down the field. although no one will say it on here, the difference is the UL receivers WANT THE BALL. if i have to watch malachi dupre drop one more gimme pass im gonna vomit
