I've been doing more research and found out they don't remove your avatar from the game when you log out (you "go to sleep"). This means people or animals can kill you, enslave you, or steal from you while logged out. Such a garbage mechanic. I'm not sure I'm getting it now.

You're right, they came out about the same time and I got them mixed up.
