they did state yesterday that over the last week they have had the highest concurrent user counts they have seen in several years.
good for blizzard. if they release adequate content patches, the numbers will remain high.
minor side note, but I believe there's power in a name. burning crusade was a great name, wrath of the lich king was a great name, legion is a great name. cataclysm is decent, mists of pandaria sucks, warlords of draenor is ok but lacking. if the name of an expansion is any indication of success, legion at least has that going for it.
not to mention blizzard has a lot riding on this expansion to draw people back after previous expansions haven't done so well.

I am convinced half of you never played real raiding content in any version of wow with some of your responses.
Ive been with the game since vanilla where ive seen its peak (BC) and its ever loving shite hole valley (HFC for 1 year).
I am a mythic raiding Resto Shaman for a guild that is aiming to be front page Illidan (US).
The specs outside of Elemental Shaman, Ret Paladin, and Shadow Priest pretty much simulate in the same thresholds. WW Monk AOE needs a nerf and Outlaw Rogue can either make you king or court jester but thats how WoW life should be.
It WAS simply the best launch ive ever witnessed. If you were around for the opening of the AQ Gates you can see what a true clusterfrick is.
Class Halls look great outside of the Priest. Shaman Hall is amazing. I got 4 frickin elemental lords to chill with eff you whoever said its Garrisons 2.0.
So far im currently ilvl846 and waiting for Mythic+ / Heroic Nightmare to open so we can melt face. Mythic0 is way too easy.
Artifacts are badass and gives a different flavor to the game and matches the LORE. YOU ARE GOING AGAINST THE EFFIN BURNING LEGION. YOU NEED GOKU! errr DOOMHAMMER!
World Quests and Suramar, enough said. Suramar is the best developed city in all of gaming.
Again im convinced half of you are whiny casuals that roam on mmo-champion and post welfare threads.
