Just remember, parents are liable for torts of their minors, so the limits need to be high, or at least what the rest of the family has.

Raise your deductables to try and offset some of the difference. It's worked out OK for me so far. Of course I know I'm going to have to pony up the first $2,000 but maybe it won't happen for a year or 3.
