After serving only 3 months.

Wonder if anyone is going to try to kill this dude

“I noticed that he was smiling. So I said, ‘Why are you smiling? Stop smiling,’” testified Peter Jonsson, one of two Stanford grad students who approached Turner and intervened while he was on top of an unconscious woman outside of a frat house. In court papers, Turner doesn't deny giggling as he lifted his prone body off of his victim. “I was laughing at the situation of how ridiculous it was,” he testified, according to the documents.

I'd totally forgive those bitches at University of Texas walking around with dildos if they beat him to death with them.

Many here were never convicted of underage drinking but are still guilty. What is your point?

Were those people arrested for other crimes and were people outraged over their lack of punishment? Did he actually "rape" her? Your analogy is a horrible example.
People are outraged at a lack of punishment for rape. He did not get convicted of rape. So their outrage is misplaced and incorrect. Kind of like several social movements going on in the country today.

This kid is a TPOS, but there are probably hundreds of cases like this around the country we don't know about. How did this one go viral? Nancy Grace pick up on it or something?

He raped her. The law in Cali wasn't well defined, so he was convicted of a lesser offense. They have voted to unanimously change that law, and under the new law he would have been convicted of rape.

Multitude of things, news, white athlete at stanford, there was also one of the Vandy players convictions at the same time. He was black and actually got convicted of rape and faced a much larger sentence, so there was a social media campaign/comparison.

I was. Damn ABC.

He wasn't convicted of rape. But was identified by two eyewitnesses and then tackled/detained by those eyewitnesses until authorities showed up.

Just playing devil's advocate here... but
How do you define what he did?
What do you consider rape?
To borrow from old Billy Shakespeare, "A rose by any other name smells as sweet."
In my personal opinion, regardless of what the courts ruled, he is a rapist, because he raped that unconscious girl.
