That's a fair point, but I disagree to an extent.
I think 2016 MIN defense will be much better than 2015 HOU defense. I also don't think Houston had even close to the ground game Minnesota has, therefore Houston didn't have the option to rely on a run-game, something MIN can do. Like I said, I see MIN defense holding most teams to lower scores.
I just don't think the game will ever be that out of reach for the Vikings to where they have abandon the run game for extended periods of time and play catch-up ball because the defense should keep them competitive vs. most teams.
This isn't at all to say there won't be instances in the season where the Vikings need to get some quick points or it is a pass-first situation, but a) in all fairness that probably would have happened with Bridgewater in anyway, it's the NFL, and b) I don't think it'll happen near as much or as drastic as you.

Hey i never said drastic. Shaun hill is a marginal player. I'm more booking on a change of game flow. I love AP but at his age & mileage I'm not sure he is equipped to out run a bad passing game. And their D isn't good enough to just lean on. They are going to have to throw the ball in order to be competitive
