Golf in Palm Springs Area

Looking to book a trip to the Palm Springs area for a golf trip. We would like to stay at a golf resort style place but would also be willing to drive a little ways for the best courses. Any recommendations? Courses and/or resorts?

Resort....JW Marriot or Talking Stick is hard to beat in Scottsdale for your resort/golf, and for a little drive, play Gold Canyon east of Mesa near Superstition Mountain, you won't be disappointed

Toka Sticks
Do you mean Talking Stick? Toka stick is a public course in Mesa, while Talking Stick is a casino/resort in Scottsdale.

Westin Kierland is very nice.

Phoenician is a nice place and has 3 9's on site (try to avoid the oasis 9 if possible, not nearly as nice as the other 2). I was not impressed with Troon North, but all the other courses we have played up in Scottsdale (Boulders, TPC, Wekopa) were awesome.

Yes it is. My company has its annual year end meetings here and I have played this course at least seven times. There are 27 holes in the course is always in wonderful shape.

played a few courses desert willow or similar and a sister course in the same area. I think cathaderal (sp) city has a sweet little nine hole course. I think the pga west course is in the area. I haven't played this area in years fwiw. great area to play golf and enjoy the night life.
