I agree!! If these children had a good upbringing with both parents available, this would not be a issue. Growing up as a child/teenager, I feared the trouble/woopin I would have received if I would have done a 1/4 of these things these kids do nowadays. Since they have possibly one parent present of whom is working two, maybe three jobs. They don't have anyone to answer to, or hold them responsible for their actions. Look at the statistics of which households only have one parent, mainly the mom?? African American! It all starts at home!

The only thing holding back blacks are blacks themselves and the democrats trying to keep them enslaved for votes.

I wonder when they will realize this

When people defend Obama I always ask what programs to help inner city kids did he ever propose? Education, Jobs and a safe environment are all three major hurdles for kids in inner cities and Obama has done nothing to address any of these three issues. One would think that a President who truly cared about more than his golf game would have pushed all three of these.

This I agree 100% with.

The same goes with Sharpton/Jackson/Black Lives Matter/etc. At what point do blacks actually stop and say, "Wait a minute...what have you actually done for us? Why should we continue to listen to you?"

I know where he is trying to go - oppression leading to poverty, poverty leading to crime - but he doesn't have much of a leg to stand on with the absent fathers = racism idea.

Except that most of these pieces of shite aren't stealing bread and milk to feed their starving families.

People in the past worshiped gods and goddess because they lacked understand certain aspects of their physical world and felt powerless. Thus, they would blame an earthquake on Poseidon, a drought on Demeter, and wars on Ares. They attributed their everyday existence, their accomplishments, their failures to the influences of these abstract deities.

In a way, Racism is the modern deity of the black community. People invoke its name as sole cause for all their misfortunes and life choices.

Can't get a job? Racism
Teen pregnancy? Racism
Crime-murder rate? Racism
Illicit drug use? Racism
School drop-out? Racism
Police profiling? Racism

Using Racism as the cause and effect to explain all the ill of our society is as overly simplistic and mis-directed as blaming Thor for Hurricane Katrina... Because it is easy to blame Racism, this poorly defined all-encompassing abstract deity, but it is much harder to peel back the layers to uncover the truth.
