Just curious, in what aspects is Guice better? Receiving? LF is an excellent receiver with great hands as well.
Not really. Fournette is not a huge threat in the passing game. Can he catch? Yes, but he doesn't have "great hands." He is a downhill runner and doesn't have the same initial shiftiness that Guice does, which allows Guice to be more effective in dump-off situations. Guice is also amazing at shedding tacklers, which helps. Making the first defender miss on a dump-off or screen is huge.

Speed? No
Agreed, but Guice is plenty fast.

Power? No.
Running over tacklers, no, but Guice has proven very strong. Go back and watch him shed tacklers last year. That's serious strength that isn't predicated on momentum.

What aspect?
He is much shiftier than Fournette. As I said in the other post, he is better at making defenders miss. He's a "slippery" runner, whereas Fournette is a punishing runner.
To sit here and act like Fournette does everything better is just silly. They are different types of backs, they have different strengths and weaknesses. Fournette doesn't have to be best at everything to be the best all-around back.

Fournette's hands have never been questioned. He has always been known as having excellent hands. How many passes have you seen him drop? Check out the great catches of the few passes he has received. I know Guice is considered as having excellent hands because of his performance in the high school all star game. But Fornette has great hands as well.

I never said Guice was not better than Fournette in any aspect. My question was which? I do not agree that his hands are better than Fournette's. Nor his speed or power. I do agree he is shiftier. But that is not to say Fournette is not shifty like some posters have stated in the past. He can make tacklers miss as well. However, Guice has elusiveness on a higher level. Again this is not downplaying Guice. He is a great back. However, a number of posters have downplayed Fournette's ability. I guess because he is so highly rated. His freshman year there were those who claimed he didn't run hard, he was not elusive, he had no vision and that Williams was a better back. I guess when you are the best there are some who try to find your faults.
i have been bragging on Guice to friends in other states since last year. I tell them we have one just as good backing up Fournette.

Speaking of Fournette, Pro Football Focus stated "He added some wiggle to his game forcing a missed tackle every 3.5 carries in 2015... His 94.3 rush grade led the nation, as did his 85 total missed tackles forced." As I said Guice, I agree is shiftier than Fournette, however Fournette is no stiff himself. He is not just power, he can make tacklers miss as well. That is what makes him such a generational running back, Power, speed, size, great hands, intelligence. He has the complete package.
If LSU was a passing team, Fournette would surprise you with how great his hands are. In fact out of high school they said he could be a great wide receiver because of his hands. Like I previously stated, how many drops do you remember him having? Maybe one? As with the tightends at LSU, you can't show your hands if they won't pass you the ball. Frustrating!!!!!
