Not legal for him[quote]
[quote]I get that he is mature enough to go to a legal place and not indulge.
Do you know how to read?
And even though it is against league rules to smoke weed, which is irrelevant to him going into a store to look around, it is still legal to him.

Even when marijuana becomes legal it will have a well-earned stigma for being a bad choice, particularly if you are paid millions a year for your athletic performance. It would be just as bad of a look for him to be filmed drinking and smoking cigarettes two weeks before the start of the season. Just because something is legal doesn't mean people won't judge you for it.

Nope but I played baseball.... If you smoked regularly you looked like shite at the plate.
I'm not forcing my opinion... Just what ortho/sports meds guys are saying.
You can't smoke and be at prime athletic conditioning. Just the way it is.
Also... I'm not saying you can't smoke.... Just don't be mad when you get cut or get fined b/c your employer who pays you millions says dont

What is it with these youngin's and weed? Get it together man
Sadly they have no role models today. We've got pieces of shite telling them "it's not bad" and they eat it up. Most celebrities push that idea too, and young people are sheep so they follow them.
I miss the days when we raised kids right.

Yep, back when high schoolers could walk in the store and buy a fifth of whiskey without being carded, which isn't bad for you at all, right???

Zeke isn't known for his decision making.
I'm all for getting rid of the prohibition on pot but while the league still penalizes for it, don't make stupid decisions. Find a friend to go poking around for you.

You're a good poster, but come on man. He just went and checked a store out. He didn't smoke any. He didn't buy any.

No. The stigma mostly exists in the older generations. Most people in their thirties sand younger see it for what it is. The least harmful recreational substance. It didn't even give you a hangover. You actually get more restful sleep. It's the perfect substance for an athlete, because it doesn't negatively effect physical performance the next day.

I can go buy a gallon of vodka and literally drink myself to death tonight. But marijuana is something we need to keep away from the public. Too harmful. Can't trust the public to act responsibility with it.

Zeke with his background needs to be cautious. The reaction he's getting is evidence this was a bad move.

Yep. Reefer turns good, upstanding Christians, into godless hippies.
Jokes aside, I think most people that had a bad experience with it, probably smoked or ate 5x+ more than they actually needed. Dispensaries should be pushing 1:1 thc:cbd strains to occasional users. If you only smoke a couple times a month, you don't need to smoke 20%+ thc weed for a buzz. And if they do smoke that, only need a small hit to get high. Too much can cause panic attacks.

He went and walked around a weed store. That's it. People overreacting to an inconsequential incident doesn't make it a bad move.
